THERAPY FOR WOMEN IN BUSINESS |
For women who carry a lot — and still want a lot.
You’re the one people rely on. The one making decisions, noticing what needs doing and building something meaningful—while trying not to disappear underneath everything it requires.
Success and struggle can exist at the same time.
Being capable doesn’t make you immune to anxiety, burnout, perfectionism or the point where holding everything together takes too much out of you.
Maybe this is familiar.
Your workday ends. Your brain doesn’t.
You replay the email, the conversation, the decision.
You say yes before checking whether you have room.
Being dependable has started to mean being endlessly available.
A setback becomes a verdict.
One rejection or slow month starts feeling like evidence about your worth.
Rest comes with a running commentary.
There’s always something useful you could be doing. Even when you’re exhausted.
You know what you want. Getting there feels loaded.
Visibility, uncertainty and perfectionism keep getting involved.
You’re competent enough that nobody sees the cost.
From the outside, you’re handling it. From the inside, it’s getting harder.
Your business isn’t the only thing in the room.
Business advice can help you decide what to do next. Therapy is interested in what happens inside you while you’re trying to do it.
Why does visibility feel threatening when you want to be seen? Why does criticism hit so hard? Why can saying no feel dangerous? And when did your worth start rising and falling with your productivity or other people’s responses?
We can look underneath the immediate problem at the beliefs, emotional patterns, relationships and past experiences shaping your reactions.
This is psychotherapy for the person carrying the business. We work with anxiety, self-worth, stress, identity and relationships. Business strategy, revenue planning and performance coaching are outside this work.
Therapy can help with the parts that don’t fit on your to-do list.
01 / Burnout + switching off
When being “on” has become your default, and rest doesn’t feel restorative.
02 / Anxiety + overthinking
The spirals, decision paralysis and pressure to be absolutely certain.
03 / Perfectionism + fear of failure
Impossible standards, harsh self-criticism and the fear of getting it wrong.
04 / Boundaries + people-pleasing
Saying no, tolerating disappointment and making room for your own needs.
05 / Self-worth + visibility
Being seen without turning every response into a measure of your value.
06 / Identity + relationships
Who you are beyond what you do, and what responsibility asks of your closest connections.
You can love what you’ve built and love your family—and still feel pulled in half.
Motherhood doesn’t automatically switch off the part of you that wants to build, create, earn or accomplish things. It can change how much time, autonomy and energy you have to do them.
The invisible labour. The guilt when you work and the frustration when you can’t. The resentment you feel uncomfortable admitting. The question of who you are now—and whether wanting more makes you ungrateful.
We can make room for those contradictions without asking you to choose one acceptable version of yourself.

Less performing. More understanding what’s happening.
Sessions are shaped around what you’re experiencing and what you want help with. We may explore the patterns that keep repeating, where your standards came from, and what happens when you disappoint someone or don’t have a certain answer.
That can include practical work with boundaries and assertiveness, anxiety and emotional regulation, relationships, identity and values—and the impact of past experiences on present reactions.
I draw on cognitive behavioural, dialectical behavioural and attachment-informed approaches. There’s room for both insight and strategies you can use between sessions.
You don’t need to arrive with a polished explanation. We can start with the part that’s taking up too much room.
I’m Kerri. You can put the capable act down here.

My work makes room for the complexity underneath being highly responsible, ambitious and capable: the anxiety behind the composure, the self-doubt alongside the drive, and the needs that keep getting pushed to the bottom of the list.
You can care deeply about your work and want support with what it brings up in you. You don’t have to defend your ambition—or prove that things are bad enough to deserve help.
You don’t need to become less ambitious.
You may just need a way of carrying what matters to you that costs you less.
If work, responsibility, relationships, motherhood or your own internal pressure have started taking up more room than you want them to, therapy can help you understand what’s happening underneath it.
A consultation is a place to talk about what you’re looking for and whether working together feels like a fit.
